At the Society May Sale held at Carlisle the PENDLE "Ladies" had great success with both heifers taking prize tickets in their Maiden Heifer Class.

JULIETTE taking the first prize ticket and JAZZ closely followed with the third prize ticket.

Both heifers realised above average bids in the sale ring on the following day, with JULIETTE selling at a premium of +40%.

The PENDLE "Boys" also performed well with INKY BLACK taking a third prize ticket, whilst IVECO and IRN BRU held their own in very strong classes of Senior and Intermediate bulls respectively.

INKY BLACK took the top pice for the herd at 6,000gns in the sale ring.

All animals are from home bred cows and the herd enjoys high herd health status, with accreditation for Johnes (risk level 1), BVD and IBR, and a 4 year TB testing parish - last full herd clear test January 8th 2015.
